Coach/Sports Lead

Saturdays 9:00am-3:00pm
Sundays 10:00am-1:00pm

Soccer/Basketball/Sports Coaches needed to run classes for kids with special needs.  Coaching & special needs experience not a necessity, but a love of children  and great enthusiasm is! We will train!

There are also staffing opportunities for Sports assistants! If you have an affinity for sports let us know!

SNACKtivities
Activity Leader (Music, Art, Yoga, Movement)

Thursdays 3:30-5:30pm
Fridays 3:30-5:30pm
Saturdays 11:00am-1:00pm
Sundays 11:00am-1:00pm

The Activity leads run classes for kids with special needs. Leaders should be trained in one or more of these disciplines and love of children and enthusiasm is required.  We will train!

There are also staffing opportunities for Activity assistants! If you have an affinity for music, art, or yoga let us know!

SNACKtivities Activity Assistant

Thursdays 3:30-5:30pm
Fridays 3:30-5:30pm
Saturdays 11:00am-1:00pm
Sundays 11:00am-1:00pm

The Activity Assistants follow the instructions of the Activity Leaders and aid the children in staying on-task during SNACKtivities activities, redirecting them when needed.   Assistants set up and clean up before, during, and after activities.

Swim Instructor

Tuesdays 4:45-7:00pm
Wednesdays 4:45-6:15pm
Saturdays 4:00-6:00pm
Sundays 1:00-4:00pm

The SNACK Swim program provides a a high quality learn-to-swim program for children with developmental disabilities with a 1:1 instructor to child ratio. The Swim Instructor is responsible for the safety of one child during each lesson. Instructors must be able to teach basic swimming techniques as well as water safety to children ages 3-18. Lifeguard Certification and experience with children with special needs is a plus.

ABA Trained Instructor

Tuesdays 4:45-7:00pm
Wednesday 4:45-6:15pm
Saturdays 11:00am-1:00pm
Sundays 11:00am-1:00pm and other varying hours

The ABA Instructor applies the basic concepts of ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) techniques with the children during the program. The ABA Instructor observes children to detect challenging behaviors that may arise during the program time and consults with SNACK’s Lead ABA Consultant on a weekly basis to discuss these issues. The ABA Instructor implements and assists in developing behavior strategies designed by the Lead ABA Consultant for use in the program and trains assisting staff to execute the protocols that are put into place as well.
